It’s finally here.  We launched our new custom decals website on Sunday, March 21^st.  It’s been a long couple of months working on content to provide you all with the easiest site to design your own custom laptop skins, home decor or car decals.  The new site features some brand new decal ideas, like custom snowboard skins.

We created a new easy-to-use navigation scheme to help users browse our products in the categories of skins, décor and decals.  Each product page now features an image gallery, top selling favorite designs, video demos and tutorials; not to mention featured blogs about the specific product.

In the next couple of months we will launch several more product pages, and hopefully have an exhaustive list of our custom decals by summertime.  The great thing about custom decals is that the creative possibilities are endless, so anytime we or you have a new idea for using sticviews decals we can post that offering to our website.  Have an idea for a sticviews custom decal that you don’t see featured on our site?  Let us know in the contact us section of our site.

There's a whole section dedicated to teaching you how to customize your decal!

We’ve revamped the help section, and will continue to add more help information as consumers present different questions about sticviews decals.  There’s also a thorough tops section full of great ideas and information about how to design and install your custom decals.

We have a new community section that focuses on our social media presence and our online communities.  This section includes information featured on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Flickr to keep you in the know about sticviews.  Sticviews uses the social networking sites to showcase decal ideas from the company and consumer side.  Have a great idea for a stic?  You can head over to our Facebook fan page to upload an image of your custom decal or post a comment about your idea for your own custom decal.  We also will be incorporating an area where we can feature bloggers we are working with to show off their use of sticviews.

Wow, the past few days have been a whirlwind here at the sticviews office with car decals and laptop skins! We’ve had lots of Christmas gifts come in and they look fantastic.  We’ve had great designs come in for laptop skins, iPhone decals, custom window art, car decals and more!  I’ll have to upload images of my favorite custom decals tomorrow so you all can see.

Here’s a quick overview of what we do to process orders.  After we prepare the image files for print, we send them to our printer to print on white vinyl, clear vinyl, and cloth stic.

Next is the cutting stage.  We have several options for the shapes of decals (rectangle, rounded rectangle, circle, and semi-circle).  Our cutter is really fast and cuts the images very precise!  (I really like the Corvette laptop skin below.) People have been utilizing some awesome designs that are featured in the sticviews gallery, and some have even uploaded their own unique designs.

The last stage is packaging.  Everyone gets a few free samples (a stained glass sticker, a holiday decal, and a cloth stic shirt sticker) and installation tips.  I love the zebra laptop skin, doesn’t it look great?  I’m thinking about sticking my desk with zebra tomorrow!!

So there you a have it – the custom decal orders are on their way via UPS to the Santa’s across the US!
